Podtech Data Centers Inc., the employing entity and proud member of the IREN Group, is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor Lead to join our team. The role focuses on policy development, cross‑department coordination, and driving high‑performance safety and environmental practices across our North American operations.

This position emphasizes risk assessment, data-driven insights, incident investigations, and continuous improvement to meet government regulations and Iris Energy

Qualifications

• Degree or post-secondary diploma in Environmental Safety or professional accreditation.
• Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in occupational or process safety across diverse operations.
• Experience with legislation and implementing HSE systems driving high performance.
• Effective communication and influencing across stakeholders.
• Strong consultative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Understanding of construction processes and electrical infrastructure safety.
• Experience developing HSE management systems frameworks.
• Data-driven insights informing business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize the EHSS Management System to manage risks and opportunities.
• Embed a proactive culture of continuous improvement across jurisdictions.
• Provide regular review and assessment of health, safety and environment risks.
• Conduct safety and environmental performance reviews ensuring compliance with regulations and Iris Energy policy.
• Collaborate with operations and stakeholders to develop effective HSE programs.
• Oversee safety and environmental reporting and metrics for internal and public agencies.
• Lead incident investigations and share learnings across the organization.
• Set annual and long-range safety, health, and training goals.
