Job summary

Dias Geophysical Limited seeks an HSE Coordinator to help protect employees while enabling field exploration. You will conduct safety inspections, develop and update HSE policies, and organize training on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Reporting to the HSE Director, you will ensure regulatory compliance, perform risk assessments, investigate incidents, maintain records, and travel to remote project sites as required. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

  • Certificate, diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Experience in hazard identification & control, emergency response planning, incident investigations and inspections.
  • Demonstrate good communication with internal and external clients.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel to remote project locations as required.

  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports and training sessions
  • Work closely with the HSE Director to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  • Monitor workplace conditions to ensure they do not pose health risks to employees and that environmental regulations are followed

Job Type : Full-Time, Fixed term contract

Contract length : 6 months with a possibility for extension or becoming permanent.
