Job summary

Socket.dev in Saskatoon is seeking an HSE Coordinator to lead safety inspections, develop and update HSE policies, and organize training on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, investigate incidents, perform risk assessments, and maintain accurate records, reporting directly to the HSE Director. This is a 6-month fixed‑term contract with potential extension, based at the head office.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Experience in hazard identification & control, emergency response planning, incident investigations and inspections.
• Demonstrate good communication with internal and external clients.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Ability to travel to remote project locations as required.

Responsibilities

The HSE Coordinator will report directly to HSE Director.

Job Type : Full-Time, Fixed term contract

Contract length : 6 months with a possibility for extension or becoming permanent.
