Job summary

Randstad Canada in Surrey, BC, seeks an HR Recruiter to partner with hiring managers, own full-cycle talent acquisition, and drive data integrity across HRIS. This hybrid role blends four days in-office with one day remote at our Surrey corporate office.

You will coach interview teams, calibrate role requirements, craft candidate experiences, and ensure recruitment practices meet Canadian employment standards while delivering timely updates to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of progressive HR Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • High emotional intelligence, exceptional conflict resolution skills, and ability to build trust quickly with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Partnership with Hiring Managers to provide market intelligence and headcount planning.
  • Lead intake sessions to define role requirements and evaluation rubrics.
  • Coach interview teams on structured interviewing and bias mitigation.
  • Own end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from posting to offer negotiation.
  • Maintain high data integrity in ATS and talent platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Hiring Manager Partnership & Advisory
  • Strategic Partner: Serve as the primary talent acquisition point of contact for hiring managers, providing market intelligence, candidate pool availability, and advice on headcount planning.
  • Role Calibration: Lead thorough intake sessions to define role requirements, craft target candidate profiles, and establish objective, competency-based evaluation rubrics.
  • Interview Coaching: Empower and coach hiring teams on structured interviewing techniques, effective candidate assessment, and best practices to mitigate unconscious bias.
  • Recruitment Lifecycle & Candidate Experience
  • Lifecycle Ownership: Own the end-to-end talent acquisition process from job posting and active sourcing through pre-screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless, high-touch candidate journey by maintaining prompt, transparent communication and delivering constructive feedback at every touchpoint.
  • ATS & Tech Operations: Maintain high data integrity within internal Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and talent platforms to streamline workflows and maintain clear pipeline visibility.
  • Sourcing Strategy, Analytics & Employer Brand
  • Proactive Sourcing: Identify and engage passive talent through multi-channel sourcing strategies, professional networks, and direct outreach to build robust pipelines for critical roles.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, candidate pass-through rates, source quality) to optimize strategies and provide actionable updates to leadership.
  • Employer Branding & Compliance: Promote company culture across talent channels while ensuring all recruitment practices align with applicable employment standards, human rights legislation, and labor laws.
Qualifications

Summary

On behalf our our well established construction based Surrey client we are looking for an HR Recruiter to support their team. Based at their Corporate Office in Surrey, BC, this full-time role provides full-cycle HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding, while ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and compliance within HR systems including our HRIS. In this role you will focus on what matters most: coaching managers, handling complex employee relations, driving data integrity, and building a thriving workplace culture. This position operates on a hybrid work model of four days in-office and one day remote each week.

Location: Surrey

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day from home)

Hourly Range: $26 - $30 CAD
