Job summary

Cohere is seeking a People Systems and Automation Manager to redesign and automate People processes across our HR tech stack, including Rippling. You will own end-to-end employee lifecycle workflows and drive cross-functional alignment between People, IT, Finance, and Payroll.

You will design robust, scalable processes for a growing global team, focusing on reducing manual tasks, improving data integrity, and enabling compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Built People Ops/HR systems at a fast-growing company.
• HRIS implementation or migration experience and cost awareness.
• Experience building workflows and automations in HR systems or adjacent tooling.
• Ability to discuss triggers, conditions, failure modes and edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Map current People processes and redesign them before automation.
• Build workflows across HRIS and related tools; reduce manual steps.
• Own end-to-end employee lifecycle processes from hire to exit.
• Document processes with maintainable SOPs and runbooks.
