Job summary

TC Energy is seeking an HR Services Representative to provide first-point-of-contact support for employee and retiree inquiries across the organization. You will handle a variety of HR processes, policies, and programs with a focus on timely, accurate guidance and respectful service.

Reporting to the Manager, HR Services, you will manage lifecycle cases, collaborate with HR partners, and maintain data in SAP/Workday.

Qualifications

• University degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Two or more years of Human Resources or relevant experience.
• Minimum of one year in a service role with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with impact and handle confidential information.
• Ability to resolve inquiries in an effective and timely manner while managing competing priorities in a high-paced environment.
• Problem solver with critical thinking skills and adaptability in a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

• Respond to general HR queries and provide guidance per HR processes and programs.
• Manage cases for employee lifecycle events; coordinate with internal HR teams; oversee end-to-end processes.
• Provide high-quality, timely resolution and professional customer service via portal, phone, and chat.
• Collaborate with HR partners to resolve complex matters and escalate when needed.
• Record inquiries accurately using the case management system and maintain HR data in SAP/Workday.
• Support administration of various HR programs for employees and leaders.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, UX, and process efficiency.
• Participate in ongoing training and projects.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, HR Services, the HR Services Representative will provide first‑point‑of‑contact support for all human resources inquiries from employees and retirees across TC Energy on a variety of HR processes, policies, practices, and programs.

What you’ll do

• Respond to general HR queries and provide guidance in line with TC Energy's HR processes, policies, practices, and programs.
• Manage cases for employee lifecycle events, including facilitation and coordination with internal HR teams and oversee full process to completion.
• Provide high quality, timely resolution and professional customer service via online portal, telephone, and chat.
• Collaborate with HR partners to resolve complex matters, find solutions and raise matters not resolved at the first point of contact to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Thoroughly and accurately record all inquiries using case management application and maintenance of HR data in SAP and or workday.
• Support the administration of various human resources programs for employees and leaders.
• Identify opportunities to improve our service focused on user experience, effectiveness and efficiency as well as simplifying processes.
• Participate in ongoing training and learning opportunities as well as projects or initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• University degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• Two or more years of Human Resources or relevant experience
• Minimum of one year in a service role with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Strong ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with impact and handle confidential information
• Ability to resolve inquiries in an effective and timely manner while managing competing priorities in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Problem solver with critical thinking skills including an aptitude to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic and complex organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday, SAP and ServiceNow
• Working towards CPHR Designation
