Job summary

Amcor North America Human Resources Operations Center is seeking a Shared Services HR Service Center Partner II. This hands-on role provides administrative and analytical support to the HR team and employees at varying levels, leveraging HRIS, knowledge base, and case management to ensure data integrity and quality service.

You will lead process improvements, mentor peers, and coordinate cyclical initiatives while building strong relationships with business functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as SME and escalation point for Service Center peers.
  • Provide project support for specialty areas and large-scale processes.
  • Mentor peers and share knowledge across HR spaces.
  • Build strong relationships with business functions and advise leaders on change management.
  • Handle complex inquiries with data entry in HR systems.
  • Draft and distribute mass communications related to HR spaces.
  • Audit employee data for data integrity in HR systems.
  • Respond to inquiries via email and phone within SLA.

Job Description

As a member of the Amcor North American Human Resources Operations Center, the Shared Services HR Service Center Partner II is a hands‑on role where you will be a team player responsible for providing administrative and analytical support to the HR team and all other employees at varying levels within the organization. The HR Service Center Partner II is responsible for acting as a HR support partner to the network via the utilization of human resource information systems, knowledge base management, and case management for HR Shared Services to interpret, complete complex data entry activities, and ensure data integrity within HR technology solutions, as well as provide quality internal customer‑focused support within service level agreement expectations. The HR Associate II will also have a deeper responsibility to include project‑focused work, which includes coordination of cyclical processes, events, and new initiatives. The ideal candidate welcomes constant change and is someone who can be strategic, inventive, as well as tactical in implementation. The HR Associate II is a valuable resource for team members, providing guidance and support to make them successful, while also making a positive impact on how team members experience organizational change and growth.

What You Get To Do
  • Subject matter expert and point of escalation to Service Center peers in assigned specialty space(s)
  • Escalation point‑of‑contact within the HR Service Center
  • Provide project support for specialty area and large‑scale repeated processes
  • Provide support and learning to peer HR Service Center team members as a subject matter expert and mentor across specialty spaces
  • Engage with HR team members of focus areas to continually grow knowledge and receive/provide feedback
  • Develop strong business relationships with all business functions you support, coaching and advising leaders on change management
  • Assist Service Center Lead and Manager with complex inquiries impacting specialty space, or as assigned
  • Draft, review, and distribute mass communications to appropriate individuals related to specialty space
  • Assist the HR Service Center Lead in developing continuous process improvements to further gain efficiencies in specialty spaces and department
  • Review employee data forms and reports, interpret entry requirements, and complete complex data entry in HR technology solutions with accuracy
  • Respond to all employee, manager, or HR inquiries via email and phone utilizing case management tool
  • Achieve resolution of cases at rates which meet or exceed established metric standards and service levels
  • Audit employee data to ensure data integrity exists in all HR systems
  • Respond to report requests of all complexities, and be a point of escalation for customized report requests to the Shared Services team
  • Follow the established escalation paths to resolve complex inquiries
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of all HR plans and program designs
  • Responsible for creating and updating team process and employee resource documents for all specialty spaces
  • Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes and employment law, along with gaining Amcor business knowledge to best assist Amcor colleague base
  • Continuous process improvements to further gain efficiencies in focus area
  • Ensures all activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory guidelines (i.e. AA, EEO, FLSA, ADA, etc.)
