Job description

Responsibilities (Text Only)
- Supports employees and managers by responding to HR-related inquiries and performing HR transactions. Addresses inquiries by researching policies and procedures, and collaborating with partner teams as needed. Triages inquiries to the appropriate queue. Act as subject matter experts for country-specific topics (e.g., processes, compliance laws, policy updates). - Reviews documents and reports related to employee records in HR processes (e.g., new hire onboarding, compensation, leave of absences, termination, etc.) and verifies their accuracy; participates in information-gathering sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements. - Documents and updates processes, desk-top procedures, and knowledge-based content as requested in a timely manner; provides input for change on knowledge base content to the team lead. - Participates in the implementation of new policies or processes by sharing input and/or suggestions based on employee feedback, case trends, and industry best practices. - Maintains and updates employee record database; enters data and reviews data input to ensure accuracy; identifies and resolves discrepancies or issues in data administration with partner teams. - Contributes to the creation and improvement of materials on how to use HR shared services, platforms, and tools for employees and managers; learns the end-to-end service model. - Protects data privacy and adheres to confidentiality requirements. Troubleshoots and reports issues or risks related to data integrity, security, and privacy and recommends needed fixes. Works with team members to identify relevant factors related to the issue. Performs data audits as needed both internally and externally. - Reviews own performance metrics target and identifies opportunities for improvement; shares input and raises opportunities for improvement to manager.
Qualifications (Text Only)
Required/Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Business, or related field and 2+ years work experience in HR operations, HR, or related field Preferred Qualifications - Fluent in French - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to actively listen and respond to inquiries and escalations during both in-person and remote (e.g. Teams call, phone call) interactions. - Consulting skills and business acumen to influence others, think critically to resolve complex sensitive situations free of bias, articulate root causes, develop and maintain working relationships, and deliver results and/or expertise in a professional manner. - Experience in managing HR processes with different stakeholders, proactively solve for gaps and opportunities, and implement scalable solutionsacross the Americas (Canada, LATAM, US). - Knowledge of HR industry terminology, technology, research, and practice. This includes knowledge of HR operating environments, issues, trends, local laws and regulations, statutory requirements, instructions related to governing bodies and organizations, and any applicable software. - Ability to adhere to and update HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with local country legislation and alignment with company values. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, document thorough notes, and follow through on outcomes by considering legal, business, and employee implications in recommending comprehensive solutions. - Possess initiative and drive; with a strong desire to continuously improve processes, provide world-class employee experience, and deliver against agreed objectives/service levels. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment to complete work tasks with speed and accuracy while managing a large work volume. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail. - Possess a positive attitude and ability to work well both independently and with a diverse group of people in a hybrid environment.
