Job summary

Valard Construction is seeking an HR Onboarding Advisor & Field Recruitment Coordinator based in Canada (Edmonton or Calgary). You will lead end-to-end onboarding for field and corporate operations, coordinating with HR, IT, payroll and managers to ensure a seamless, compliant process.

Additionally, you will manage full-cycle field recruitment across union and non-union environments, build candidate pipelines, and uphold accurate ATS and HRIS records.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 3 years of HR operations experience.
• Experience onboarding in a high-volume environment.
• In-depth knowledge of CBAs, dispatch processes.
• Full-cycle field recruitment experience.
• Proficiency with ERP/HRIS/Workable and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding for field and corporate roles, ensuring compliance with CBAs and policies.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics with HR, IT, payroll and managers.
• Maintain audit-ready employee records across workforce classifications.
• Manage full-cycle field recruitment for union and non-union roles.
• Handle union dispatch requests and advise on agreements and procedures.
• Prepare workforce reports for HR leadership and stakeholders.
