Linamar Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with applicable legislation.

The role provides guidance on employment law, company policies, and programs, with opportunities to advance within a global manufacturing leader and a focus on employee development and engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication; communicate with all levels of the org.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Ability to read employment standards and human rights legislation.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and diverse tasks.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience with HRIS (Oracle/HRIS).

Responsabilités

• Advise managers on employee relations and policy interpretation.
• Support employees on HR topics including compensation and leaves.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: postings, screen, interview, offers, onboarding.
• Handle claims management (STD, LTD, WSIB, return-to-work).
• Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS (Oracle, Workforce).
• Administer benefits enrollment, terminations, remittances.
• Coordinate training and employee development activities.
• Plan employee engagement events to maintain morale.
• Participate in investigations and maintain confidentiality.
• Conduct disciplinary meetings and exit interviews.
