Job summary

TreowGroup Recruitment is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to cover a 12-month maternity leave for our Toronto-based manufacturing client. This on-site role reports to the General Manager and focuses on employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead HR initiatives, support payroll coordination, onboarding/offboarding, and maintain HR records while advancing engagement and culture within the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree; CHRP designation is a strong asset.
• Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR best practices.
• Experience overseeing recruitment and onboarding of new candidates.
• Familiarity with payroll is an asset.
• Experience with HRIS and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Supporting the Payroll/HR Coordinator.
• Acting as the primary HR contact for internal and external inquiries.

TreowGroup Recruitment, on behalf of our Toronto-based manufacturing client, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to cover a 12-month Maternity Leave.

• A bachelor’s degree (CHRP designation is a strong asset).
• Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR best practices.
• Experience overseeing recruitment and onboarding new candidates.
• Familiarity with payroll is an asset.
• Experience with HRIS (an asset) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A professional, confidential, and solutions-oriented approach to HR expertise.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
