Assisting clients in navigating exceptions to resolution by partnering with COEs to find creative solutions to meet business needs while adhering to corporate objectives
  • Acting as a proactive problem solver and advisor to leaders, helping them navigate employee relations, performance, attendance, leaves, employee moves, probationary matters, and other workplace issues with sound judgment and discretion
  • Supporting the HRBP team with engagement initiatives for client groups such as annual and pulse surveys and developing action plans to respond to feedback and other initiatives related to organizational culture and inclusion
  • Anticipating people-specific needs and union implications that drive business strategies and provides consultations and available solutions
  • Actively fostering the integrated model between the HR Generalist and HRBP teams to ensure seamless service continuity and a client-centric approach through participation in case discussions, control boards, and client update meetings
  • Facilitating dialogue and discussion between the business and internal and external providers to assist with prioritization of competing objectives (e.g., runs meetings, focus groups, joint sessions, workshops, etc.)
  • Contributing to development of policies, reporting tools, directives, procedures, and program implementation to identify improved methods/techniques related to business activities and functions
  • Using existing data to research, review and analyzing various issues, trends, legislative issues, systemic issues, and policy/process concerns
  • Supporting the HRBP team with change management and intervention strategies to support major projects and transformational plans that have impact on the business
  • Acting as an internal consultant and coach to business leaders, influencing leadership actions in performing HR-related tasks
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
