Job Overview

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for strategic HR leadership for the Nucleic Acid Therapeutics & Nanomedicine and Commercial groups within Cytiva's Genomic Medicine Business Unit. This role involves advising global leadership, guiding HR strategies, and supporting talent acquisition, development, and engagement initiatives. The position requires fostering a culture of open communication, inclusivity, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with leadership to drive business results and cultural growth post-integration of the Nanomed business.
  2. Assess organizational implications of business strategies and facilitate organizational effectiveness through talent and culture initiatives.
  3. Identify talent needs, build talent pools, and facilitate cross-functional development and mobility.
  4. Develop and implement retention and engagement strategies to motivate and support staff.
  5. Advise leaders on change management and communication strategies during organizational changes.
  6. Provide coaching on performance management and employee relations.
  7. Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives to promote an inclusive culture.
  8. Utilize metrics and data to identify improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional projects.
  9. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and regional teams on various HR programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, psychology, business, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including global team leadership.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and influence skills in a matrix environment.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of leading change.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including to Vancouver and Sweden.
