Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada seeks an experienced HR Data, Analytics & Digital Transformation Lead to modernize HR by strengthening people analytics, workforce insights, automation, data governance, and digital capabilities. You will move HR from reporting to proactive insight generation, enabling smarter workforce decisions.

You will build HR analytics, design dashboards, automate HR processes, explore AI-enabled solutions, and ensure data governance across HR data and systems while

Qualifications

• Strong experience in HR systems, people analytics, workforce reporting, data visualisation, or digital HR transformation.
• Practical experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools to develop dashboards, analyse trends, and communicate insight clearly.
• Ability to translate complex HR data into meaningful business narratives, recommendations, and evidence-based actions.
• Good understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle data, workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, and HR operations.
• Experience identifying and delivering automation, process improvement, or workflow redesign opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop the HR analytics capability by moving beyond data extraction and reporting to identify workforce trends, risks, opportunities, and predictive insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and self-service reporting tools for leaders and stakeholders.
• Identify, prioritize, and deliver opportunities to automate repetitive HR activities and streamline workflows.
• Explore and support responsible deployment of AI-enabled HR solutions and emerging technologies.
• Strengthen HR data governance by improving data standards, integration, quality controls, and reporting architecture.
• Contribute to HR technology roadmap by managing digital products and measuring benefits realization.
• Partner with HR, IT, business leaders, and vendors to understand workforce challenges and advise on future-state operating models.
• Support digital transformation by developing adoption strategies and embedding new ways of working.
