Job summary

Qualico is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative support for HR processes, recruitment, and day-to-day employee services. You will help coordinate payroll/benefits and maintain accurate HR records in our HRIS.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and team collaboration within a Winnipeg office. The position involves desk-based work in an office setting, with occasional travel to other site locations and a focus on delivering accurate HR services to employees.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative and/or HR related experience.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Comfortable using MS Office and HRIS software (ADP Workforce Now or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare HR correspondence, documentation and internal/external communications.
  • Provide support to recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration tasks.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
  • Conduct new employee orientations.
  • Coordinate HR programs, training sessions and activities.
  • Assist in HR projects and related initiatives.

Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Job Overview

Reporting to the Senior Regional HR Business Partner, as the HR Coordinator you will provide administrative support to day-to-day HR administration, recruitment and hiring process, and customer service to employees. You also assist in the coordination of payroll and benefits.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
  • Preparing a variety of HR correspondence, documentation and internal/external communications.
  • Providing support to the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Assisting with day-to-day tasks relating to payroll and benefit administration.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records in HRIS system.
  • Conducting new employee orientations.
  • Coordinating and maintaining HR programs, training sessions and activities.
  • Assisting in HR projects and other related initiatives.

Essential Requirements
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.

Work Conditions
