Job summary

Arctos & Bird in Banff National Park is seeking a motivated HR Coordinator to support our centralized Administration team and our hospitality and property management businesses. You’ll manage recruitment, onboarding, and new-hire orientation while helping maintain a positive employee experience.

Based in our downtown Banff office, you’ll support payroll, safety, policy inquiries, and team events, contributing to a respectful, inclusive workplace across Wild Flour Artisan Bakery, Little Wild

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least two years of experience in HR coordination or generalist roles.
• Knowledge of employment law, payroll fundamentals, and health and safety standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS and payroll software.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment process for all businesses with support.
• Welcome and onboard new team members.
• Lead employee orientation sessions.
• Support a positive workplace by resolving conflicts.
• Serve as primary contact for HR policy inquiries.
• Oversee daily staff accommodation operations.
• Organize team events and social activities.
• Support workplace safety and incident reporting.
• Assist with payroll administration when required.
