Job summary

Burnbrae Farms Limited -B100 in Mississauga is seeking a Bilingual TA Co-Op to support the Talent Acquisition team during an 8-month term (January 2027–August 2027). This co-op reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and works closely with the team to understand recruitment life cycle.

The role requires bilingual English/French, strong interpersonal skills, and exposure to full-cycle recruitment. You will coordinate interviews, manage candidate records, and participate in meetings while

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on fields such as construction, trades, agriculture or related areas.
• 3rd or final year university/college in HR or Business.
• Exposure to full-cycle recruitment is a strong asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service or sales experience is advantageous.
• Ability to build strong internal client relationships.
• Familiarity with ATS is an asset.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking ability.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Follow recruitment protocols and manage applicants in-house tracking system.
• Maintain records and provide weekly pipeline updates to hiring managers.

• Support additional recruiting projects as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to understand the recruitment life cycle and best practices from start to finish.
• Follow company’s recruitment protocols and process at managing all applicants via in-house tracking system.
• Maintain accurate records, providing weekly updates to hiring managers on the candidates’ pipeline and progress.
• Participate in weekly recruitment meetings, providing updates on portfolio and any recommendations on the recruitment process.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers following recruitment processes.
• Identify candidates through job board databases, online tools, social media and other ad-hoc resources.
• Support additional recruiting efforts and participate in projects as required.
• Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in construction, skilled trades, equipment operation, agriculture, or a related hands‑on field
• 3rd or final year of university or college in an HR or Business program.
• Exposure to full cycle recruitment considered a strong asset in a previous co‑op term.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in customer service or sales considered a strong asset.
• Ability to build strong relationships with client groups (internal) to work in a collaborative and consultative manner.
• Previous experience using ATS considered an asset
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at a time.
• Critical thinking, good judgement, and the ability to recognize opportunities.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
