Job Description
As Traveloka continues to expand and adapt to an increasingly complex organizational landscape, we seek a dedicated HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Indonesia office. This role is central to providing strategic HR support to the engineering group.
Our HR Business Partners are integral to the success of both our people and our organization. They provide expert guidance, coaching, and advice to leaders and employees alike. Responsible for collaborating with leadership to drive decisions on organizational design, compensation, and employee development, HRBPs function as frontline consultants to support talent management within the team, bespoke to Traveloka's culture.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Partnering & Consultation
- Conduct regular meetings with assigned business units to understand their HR needs and priorities.
- Provide strategic HR guidance and consulting to line management on organizational, talent, and employee issues.
- Assist managers with performance management, coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, and career development.
- Offer HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure consistent application.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough, unbiased investigations.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement solutions for employee engagement and retention.
Organizational Development & Planning
- Collaborate with Senior HRBP Manager and business leadership on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
- Identify training needs at both the team and individual levels and coordinate developmental programs and coaching by partnering with Talent Management team.
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned to support the HR function and company goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a proven track record in managing complex employee relations issues.
- Strong ability to quickly understand and navigate the organization’s hierarchy, roles, qualifications, compensation structures, and administrative processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective interpersonal relationships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, employment regulations, and HR policies within Indonesia.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth tech company, supporting engineering or tech teams is a plus.
