Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking Housekeeping Supervisors to oversee housekeeping staff and janitors at a remote Nunavut location. You will ensure high cleanliness standards, supervise training, and manage scheduling within budget constraints. This role includes a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation with 12-hour day or night shifts and air travel for departure.

Valid WHMIS certification and driving license are required, with prior experience in remote-site operations and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a housekeeping supervisory role.
• WHMIS certification is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Provide supervision, training, guidance, and support to housekeeping staff and janitors.
• Schedule staff while adhering to budget requirements.
• Manage inventory and order supplies within budget guidelines.
• Assist with reporting documentation including timesheets and incident reports.
• Oversee shutdowns and general cleaning activities as required.
• Report maintenance issues and follow client work order processes.
