Job summary

Sunwolf Resort in Brackendale, BC is hiring a full-time Housekeeper Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. The role offers a great schedule with no evenings or early mornings, and involves supervising staff, inspecting facilities, and liaising with guests.

You will hire and train staff, plan schedules, and may perform cleaning duties when needed, including outdoor work around the 5-acre property. Strong communication and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience and ability to lead a cleaning team.
• Excellent communication and guest-service orientation.
• Comfortable working outdoors, rain or shine, with physical activity.
• Reliable transportation to Brackendale workplace in BC.
• Legal right to work in Canada and completion of secondary school.

Sunwolf Resort in Brackendale, BC offers 12 Riverside Cabins, 2 large Lodges and a meeting space. We also support the coolest café in the Sea to Sky – Fergie’s! We are located in Brackendale (just north of Squamish) on Squamish Valley Road (less than five minutes from Hwy 99).

Position:

We are looking to hire a full time Housekeeper Supervisor Sunwolf Resort. We’re looking for a hands on, hardworking person to join lead our Housekeeping Team. It’s a great schedule, as we don’t work evenings and no early mornings!

Job Description:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of team of cleaners
• Inspect facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Recommend for additional services needed in rooms such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Assist with hiring and training cleaning staff
• Prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments
• May perform cleaning duties.
• Spending time outdoors, walking and/or driving around 5 acre property.
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or questions or concerns
• Stock linen closets and other supplies’ areas
• Maintain and order housekeeping inventory
• May handle complaints.
• Work independently at times and work in teams during busier times.

Must Have:

• Have your own means of transportation (bike or car) to the workplace.
• Must be able to carry a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Extended time on your feet; lifting, bending and reaching.
• Flexible schedule
• Comfortable working outdoors rain or shine.
• Good communication skills
• Right to work in Canada legally.
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Can do Attitude!
