Job summary

The Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa in Sidney, BC is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead front-line teams and ensure outstanding guest comfort. You will establish operational procedures, coordinate crews, supervise staff, and maintain high sanitation and safety standards across all rooms and public areas.

This on-site position requires 2–3 years of relevant experience and a high school graduation certificate.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
• On-site work at the physical location; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Establish operational procedures.
• Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews.
• Coordinate inspection of assigned areas.
• Supervise staff.
• Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair services.
• Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms.
• Supervise in-house laundry services.
• Coordinate in-house laundry services.
• Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff.
• Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out.
• Respond to complaints of guests.
