Join our team as a creative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic. Support Room Attendants, handle guest calls, sort linens, and maintain public areas. This position offers a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Be part of a team that strives for excellence!

Starting Rate: $19.38

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years, the pay rate for this role would be $23.49.

Job Duties Include

• Responsible for sanitizing ice machines on guest room floors
• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the backspaces, including sweeping, mopping, trash and recycling removal, stocking, and organizing
• Support Room Attendants by removing dirty linen from vacant guest rooms
• Stock linens and guest supplies in appropriate places and to par levels, supporting Room Attendants
• Maintain guest corridors and public spaces, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, damp dusting, elevator track cleaning, cleaning public washrooms, brass polishing, and trash removal
• Clean dirty glassware from guestrooms and restock with clean glassware at appropriate par levels
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
• Ability to anticipate guest needs, be professional and welcoming
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Strong organizational skills and time management

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel cannot assist with obtaining work authorization.
