Job summary

AgeCare is hiring a Housekeeper for its long‑term care residence in Toronto. The role performs a range of housekeeping duties to keep the facility safe, clean and sanitary for residents, visitors and staff.

You will clean multiple areas, maintain floors, dust furniture, arrange spaces and disinfect high‑touch surfaces daily. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred and a public‑school education is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes and polishes floors; operates a floor machine to buff floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals and telephones daily.
