Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean and sanitary long-term care residence for residents, visitors and staff. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties across dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas to ensure a comfortable home-like environment.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred and a minimum public-school education is required. The role offers an hourly wage of 20.37 CAD and a supportive team focused on dignity and quality care.

• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.

The Housekeeper performs a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure that the Long-Term Care residence is maintained in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition for residents, visitors, and other staff members.

What Is In It For You

• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Operates a floor machine to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor, and office floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.

What You Will Need

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• A minimum of public-school education is required.
