Job summary

AgeCare in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help keep our long-term care residence safe, clean, and sanitary for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will clean dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and offices; mop and polish floors; dust and arrange furniture; and disinfect sinks, toilets, and telephones daily.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred and a public-school education is required; the position pays CAD 20.37 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.

• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
