Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Toronto, Ontario, to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary Long-Term Care residence for residents, visitors, and staff. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks across dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, and offices, and operate floor machines to buff floors.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience if possible and a minimum of public-school education.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• A minimum of public-school education is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors. Operates a floor machine to buff floors in dining rooms, bedrooms, lounges, corridors, and offices.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
