Job summary

AgeCare Gibson is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help keep our long-term care residence safe, clean and sanitary for residents, visitors and staff. The role covers a variety of housekeeping tasks to maintain a welcoming, home-like environment.

You will clean dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, corridors and offices, vacuum and polish floors, dust furniture, arrange spaces and disinfect sinks, toilets and telephones daily.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors; operates a floor machine to buff various areas.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
