Extendicare in Canada is seeking a part-time housekeeping aide to support our long-term care homes. The role involves cleaning, garbage removal, floors, and other tasks as assigned, with a focus on maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents.

Candidates must be reliable, able to work independently or in a team, and respect residents' privacy while following safety and security protocols. Training and in-service education are provided.

Qualifications

Ability to work safely, following established safety practices & procedures.

Considerable lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, moving equipment and climbing ladders. Exposure to biochemical agents and wet floors. Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions in English. Work as a team player.
