Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a part-time housekeeping aide to support residents in our long-term care homes across Canada. You will perform cleaning, garbage removal, floor care, and related duties under the Manager's supervision, while ensuring resident privacy and safety compliance.

The role requires the ability to work both independently and in a team, with adherence to safety policies and attendance at in-service education programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely, following established safety practices & procedures.
• Considerable lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, moving equipment and climbing ladders.
• Exposure to biochemical agents and wet floors.
• Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions in English.
• Work as a team player.
