Join Our Team – Housekeeper with Yard Work Experience Wanted!

Are you someone who takes pride in a clean home and a tidy yard? Want to look forward to your workday? At Just Like Family Home Care, we do – and we’re hiring again!

We’re currently seeking a Housekeeper who is comfortable with both indoor cleaning and basic yard work when the weather permits. The successful applicant will begin with one client, with opportunities to take on additional clients as they become available. This client lives on a non-bus route, being able to drive to the home is needed.

Job Duties Include:

Indoor Housekeeping:

• Cleaning floors, dusting, and tidying/organizing living areas
• General light housekeeping duties with attention to detail

Outdoor Yard Work (weather permitting):

• Mowing lawn, pulling weeds, and weed whacking (string-trimmer) along edges
• Light seasonal yard maintenance tasks

Schedule Options:

• Option 1: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Option 2:
• Mondays: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Wednesdays: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Fridays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Some flexibility with timing is available.

Requirements:

• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Comfort with smartphones (clock in/out and visit notes via app)
• Able to complete a criminal record check
• Reliable and punctual – our clients depend on us!
• Access to reliable transportation

• Physically able to perform housekeeping and yard work tasks

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mission, BC V2V 7M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
