Job summary

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring Housekeepers for a remote lodge in Fort Frances, ON. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of our facilities to a high standard, potentially handling 25+ rooms per day. Transportation is provided from Winnipeg, MB or Thunder Bay, ON to the site.

Rotations are 2 weeks on site and 1 week off. Applicants must pass a pre-employment background check. Prior cleaning experience is preferred and attention to detail is essential.

• Demonstrates safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions.
• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies as needed.
• Disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following universal precautions.
• Keeps cart stocked with equipment and supplies; all chemicals labeled.
• Promotes professional relationships and conduct at all times.
• Assists in improving productivity and efficiency of the department.
• Adheres to training commitments and pursues professional growth.

Job Description

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for Housekeepers for a remote lodge in Fort Frances, ON. As a Housekeeper you are responsible for the overall cleanliness of our facilities to the highest-level of cleaning. Housekeepers could be cleaning up to 25+ rooms per day. Successful candidates will have professioanl camp cleaning, residential or commercial cleaning experience.

Transporation: is provided from either Winnipeg, MB or Thunder Bay, ON to site.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Maintains all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean neat and sanitary manner, to protect safety and health of others and in compliance with accurate preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in department policy.
• Inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines to follow.
• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor.
• May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
• Diligently employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
• Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition.
• Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintains professional conduct at all times.
• Assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
