Job summary

St. Michael's Health Group in Alberta seeks a part-time Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of suites, administrative and common areas, with light maintenance duties.

This L4 Night shift runs 11:00pm–7:15am, Week 1 Thursday and Week 2 Monday, Saturday and Sunday, totaling 31 hours in two weeks (0.40 FTE). Applicants must have a minimum Grade 10 education, at least one year of housekeeping or food service experience is an asset, and must complete a current Criminal Records Check with

Qualifications

• A minimum Grade 10 education is required.
• A minimum of one year experience in a housekeeping and/or food service setting is an asset.
• Candidates must obtain a current Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector and a TB screening prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of suites, administrative and common areas.
• Assist in light maintenance and meal cleanup if required.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all suites, administrative and common areas. Duties will also include light maintenance. In addition, the Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in meal clean up if required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• A minimum Grade 10 education is required.

Experience

• A minimum of one year experience in a housekeeping and/or food service setting is an asset.

All successful candidates must have, prior to start date:

• A current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
• A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
