Job summary

St. Michael's Health Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in all suites, administrative and common areas across our Edmonton, Vegreville and Spruce Grove locations.

Duties include light maintenance and assisting with meal clean-up when required. A minimum Grade 10 education is required, plus the ability to obtain a Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector and TB screening before start. We value compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education required.
• A minimum of one year experience in housekeeping and/or food service is an asset.
• Candidates must have a current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check within 90 days prior to hire.
• Tuberculosis screening completed within 12 months prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of all suites, administrative and common areas.
• Light maintenance duties.
• Assist in meal cleanup if required.

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all suites, administrative and common areas. Duties will also include light maintenance. In addition, the Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in meal clean up if required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• A minimum Grade 10 education is required.

Experience

• A minimum of one year experience in a housekeeping and/or food service setting is an asset.

All successful candidates must have, prior to start date:

• A current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
• A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
