Job summary

St. Michael's Health Group seeks a Night Shift Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of suites, common areas and support spaces in our long‑term care facilities in Spruce Grove. Shift is 11:00pm–7:15am with a two‑week rotation.

Responsibilities include thorough cleaning, light maintenance, and assisting with meal cleanup. A Grade 10 education and the potential for 1 year of housekeeping/food service experience are required; successful candidates must pass background checks and tuberculosis

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education.
• Minimum of one year experience in housekeeping and/or food service setting is an asset.
• Current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check within 90 days prior to hire date; tuberculosis screening within 12 months prior.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of all suites, administrative and common areas.
• Light maintenance as needed.
• Assist in meal cleanup if required.

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all suites, administrative and common areas. Duties will also include light maintenance. In addition, the Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in meal clean up if required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• A minimum Grade 10 education is required.

Experience

• A minimum of one year experience in a housekeeping and/or food service setting is an asset.

All successful candidates must have, prior to start date:

• A current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
• A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
