Job summary

Larga Kitikmeot is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team in Yellowknife. You will clean guest rooms, washrooms, and common areas, and ensure a welcoming, tidy environment for guests traveling from Nunavut.

The schedule is Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm with Monday and Friday as needed. Responsibilities include laundry, restocking supplies, changing linens, reporting damages, and following safety policies.

Job description

Larga is a residence for guests travelling from Nunavut while tending to their medical needs. Our mission is to provide a home-away-from-home managed by staff who are welcoming, friendly, approachable, trustworthy, caring, and have a strong desire and willingness to assist guests with their needs throughout the duration of their stay with us.

We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team on a part time basis

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm

Monday & Friday casual as needed

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, washrooms, and common areas

Wash, fold, and organize laundry

Restock supplies

Change linens and make beds

Report damages, safety hazards, or faulty equipment

Follow all safety and company policies

What we’re looking for:

Friendly, trustworthy, and team-oriented

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

Able to read, write and speak English fluently

Willing to work in a fast-paced environment

Must pass an annual Medical Clearance and a Criminal Records Check

Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals

WHIMS, CPR/First Aid (or willingness to complete)
