Job summary

Heatherwood Retirement Residence, operated by Sienna Senior Living, is looking for a Part-Time Housekeeper to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents.

You will join a caring team, performing routine cleaning tasks and helping maintain dignity and comfort for residents every day. The role offers stable shifts, competitive pay, and opportunities to contribute to a compassionate living environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls/windows/doors.
• Disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture and common areas.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants and maintain a tour-ready, welcoming environment.

Rate of Pay: $ 19.76/hr

Schedule: Part-Time | 5 shifts per pay period | Weekdays 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces

What you need to know:

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
