Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Canada is seeking a Casual Housekeeper to support our on-call team across shifts. The role offers flexibility to pick up 7:30am-3:30pm, 10:00am-2:00pm, or 11:00am-3:00pm with some weekend availability.

The wage is $17.60–$17.99 per hour, and the position focuses on safety, cleanliness and resident comfort. As a valued part of the home, you will help maintain a welcoming, tour-ready environment and build relationships with residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by meaningful work that supports seniors’ quality of life
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as assigned
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check

This is a Casual (On-Call) position to pick up shifts when we are short-staffed.

We are looking for someone who is available to pick up any of the below shifts for any day of the week:

• 7:30am-3:30pm, 10:00am-2:00pm or 11:00am-3:00pm
