Job summary

Aspira Astoria Retirement Living is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team in Port Coquitlam, BC. This casual on-call role pays $20.31 per hour and requires availability to pick up shifts as needed, including day and night.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and their guests. You will be part of a caring team at Aspira, with opportunities to grow and learn while supporting seniors in a respectful, dignified setting.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• You must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
• Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen applicants for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a safe and clean living space for residents.
• Care for residents' privacy and maintain professional conduct.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants, keeping spaces tour-ready.

This is a Casual (On-Call) position to pick up shifts when we are short-staffed.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is Available To Pick Up Any Of The Below Shifts For Any Day Of The Week

• 8:00AM-4:00PM
• 11:00PM - 07:00AM (NIGHT SHIFT)

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by meaningful work that supports seniors’ quality of life
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as assigned

What You Need To Know

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
