Job summary

Secord Trails Community, part of Sienna Senior Living, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and support the team daily. You will contribute to a culture of care, ensuring rooms are tour-ready and welcoming for new residents.

Ideal candidates have housekeeping experience, can work legally in Canada, and are committed to privacy and professionalism while serving seniors with dignity and respect. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

What makes you a great fit?

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by meaningful work that supports seniors’ quality of life
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as assigned

What You Need To Know

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
