Job summary

A casual (on-call) Housekeeper position at Aspira Astoria Retirement Living in Port Coquitlam, BC offers a $20.31 per hour rate. Shifts include 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and 11:00 PM–07:00 AM; willing to pick up shifts when short-staffed.

You will maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and support a culture of dignity and respect, assisting with daily living spaces and resident rooms.

This is a Casual (On-Call) position to pick up shifts when we are short-staffed.

We are looking for someone who is available to pick up any of the below shifts for any day of the week:

• 8:00AM-4:00PM
• 11:00PM - 07:00AM (NIGHT SHIFT)

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces

• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members

What you need to know:

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
