Job summary

ARAMARK seeks Housekeepers for the Fire Lake – Amen Camp operation in Canada. The position offers a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation, with overtime paid after 40 hours weekly and a transportation allowance. • Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, and waste removal.
• Ensure cleanliness and order throughout living and working areas.
• Follow Aramark health, safety, and operational policies.
• Be flexible to provide coverage within food services and housekeeping when needed.
• Respond to operational needs and support daily activities.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Job description

ARAMARK is currently seeking Housekeepers for the Fire Lake – Amen Camp operation.

Aramark offers 14 days on / 14 days off rotation schedule.

Hours worked beyond 40 hours per week are paid in accordance with applicable overtime regulations, with the next 30 to 40 hours paid at time-and-a-half.

Aramark provides a transportation allowance. Access to the camp is by air from Wabush Airport, and air transportation is provided by the company.

Employees are provided with meals, private accommodation, and access to laundry facilities. We also offer a highly competitive group benefits program.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of others.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas in accordance with Aramark standards and client requirements.
• Perform various housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, floor washing, and waste removal.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout all living and working areas.
• Follow all Aramark health, safety, and operational policies and procedures always.
• Demonstrate flexibility and be available to provide coverage within food services and housekeeping operations when required.
• Respond effectively to operational needs and contribute to the smooth running of daily activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality service.
• Perform all other related duties as required to support operations.

  A successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where required, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
