Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a Janitor for Manic-5 to join a remote camp environment. You will clean kitchens, buildings and common areas and carry out housekeeping duties across the camp facilities, with emphasis on safety and hygiene.

The role offers 14 days on/14 days off, meals and private accommodation, a transportation allowance and strong group insurance. Candidates must reside in Baie-Comeau or the surrounding area. Good physical stamina and ability to work independently are important.

Qualifications

• Must be versatile and adaptable.
• Experience working in a remote camp environment is considered an asset.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and basic precautions due to physical hazards and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational skills; courteous, dependable, and able to work well with others.
• WHMIS certification is considered an asset.
• Must be able to meet operational requirements.
