The Salvation Army in Ottawa is seeking a dedicated Facilities Cleaner to provide a clean, safe environment at the Ottawa Booth Centre and Anchorage Programs. You will handle routine cleaning, restocking, and safety procedures to support residents and staff.
Key requirements include 1–3 years of housekeeping experience, High School Diploma or equivalent, and WHMIS/Nonskid CSA safety apparel. Bilingual English/French is an asset. Weekend shifts are required and health/dental benefits are offered.

Position Purpose summary: To provide a clean and safe environment at the Ottawa Booth Centre and Anchorage Programs.
Adheres to all health and safety policies and procedures in place; complies with all instructions from the employer concerning health and safety as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and WSIB Ensures all procedures, rules and guidelines for the safety and security of clients and staff are enforced and respected
operate industrial cleaning equipment and tools mop and sweep (repetitive motions) bend and twist occasionally carry out step-ladder work lift more than 20 pounds with assistance

The target hiring range for this position is $20.31 to $20.31 with a maximum of $20.31. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
