The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role also involves interacting with residents, staff, volunteers, and the public in a courteous and respectful manner.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in implementing organizational goals.
2. Perform cleaning tasks following Melville Heights' procedures, standards, and performance requirements.
3. Collaborate with colleagues and management to foster a positive atmosphere for residents, families, coworkers, and visitors.
4. Use chemicals and equipment safely, adhering to departmental and WHMIS guidelines.
5. Report any resident concerns to the Supervising LPN.
6. Complete documentation and checklists as required, including input into Point Click Care.
7. Report maintenance issues promptly.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Be familiar with fire regulations and emergency procedures, understanding personal responsibilities in emergencies.
10. Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, staff, and organizational data.
