Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role; hospitality industry preferred.
• Trade certification in a related trade is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs., and work at heights when required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the Hotel Maintenance Manager in daily operations, including guest service standards, inventory management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee maintenance scheduling, coaching, and employee reviews as needed.
• Manage maintenance work orders and CMMS, ensuring documentation and closure of tasks.
• Lead capital projects, budgeting, and contractor bidding processes.
• Monitor maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
