Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Centre-Ville is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of the property, reporting to the Vice President of Operations. You will plan, organize, direct and control hotel operations to meet established standards and objectives, while ensuring guest needs are satisfied and operational efficiency.

Lead a motivated team, manage budgets and resources, and collaborate across departments to maximize revenues.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet objectives.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays.
• Experience in real estate sector and guest-facing operations.
• Computer proficiency and hospitality software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily hotel activities and coordinate across departments.
• Contribute to objectives by maintaining high customer service standards.
• Participate in revenue maximization with relevant departments.
• Manage hotel resources: materials, finances, human resources.
• Support human resources and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare and monitor the property budget and cost control.
• Review financial statements and drive profitability.
• Engage in hotel activities as a partner or host.
