Job summary

Gateway Casinos is seeking an energetic Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a property-wide housekeeping team, including Environmental Services, Hotel Housekeeping and Laundry. You will schedule staff, supervise quality, conduct inspections and collaborate with other departments to maintain impeccable guest spaces.

Flexibility to work day, afternoon and overnight shifts is required, with a strong focus on safety, training and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or environmental services.
• Experience with scheduling, training and development, and performance management.
• Unionized environment experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property-wide cleaning operations including Environmental Services, Hotel Housekeeping and Laundry to meet standards.
• Plan, organize and monitor daily activities; lead pre-shift meetings.
• Manage inventories, ordering, and budgeting for supplies.
• Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness standards across indoor/outdoor areas.
• Coordinate with other departments and update on daily operations.
• Support Housekeeping and EVS offices’ day-to-day operations.
• Maintain rosters, staffing schedules, and shift coverage.
• Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Lead recruitment efforts and staff training programs.
