Job summary

ESS Canada is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to perform light cleaning duties and maintain a clean, orderly environment within our facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning, bed making, linen handling, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

The role requires English proficiency, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and willingness to work 12-hour day shifts on a 14 on/14 off rotation. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, especially in hotels or remote camp settings.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or remote camp setting.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect areas such as washrooms, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors, and mirrors.
• Strip, wash and make beds; collect, wash and fold linens.
• Damp mop hard floors and perform carpet extraction as needed.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and remove garbage from resident rooms and common areas.
• Report injuries and hazards to the supervisor and maintain safety practices.
