Paladin Security is seeking part-time and on-call Security Officers for overnight and afternoon shifts in Vancouver, BC. The role involves responding to alarms, handling emergencies, and documenting incidents with a strong emphasis on customer service and discretion.

Qualified candidates will have customer service experience, a valid BC Security License, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Shifts include overnight 2300-0700 and afternoon 1500-2300 with a pay rate of $23.58/hour.

Qualificações

• Experience in customer service is required or highly preferred.
• Ability to stay calm and provide effective de-escalation in emergencies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and discretion with confidential information.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada; BC Security License required/preferred.
• OFA 2 and AST are considered assets in this role.

Overview

As a Healthcare Security Officer , you respond to alarms, and emergency requests, and use your excellent verbal de-escalation skills to resolve safety incidents. You always maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling private information, and you never forget to smile while providing your incredible customer service.

In this role, you will be completing detailed incident and 'missing patient' reports whenever an issue arises. This helps you discover solutions on how to keep staff, patients, and guests feeling comfortable in the secure environment you provide. Along with your dedication to utilizing PPE, you regularly patrol the facility so that no potential conflict leaves your sight.

We are currently seeking part-time and on-call/casual Security Officers for our overnight (2300-0700hrs) or afternoon (1500-2300hrs) lines.

Pay Rate: $23.58/hour

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

• Have experience in customer service
• Have a valid BC Security License
• Can remain calm in emergency situations
• Are comfortable walking and standing for long periods of time
• Possess skills to deal with challenges and communicate effectively at various social levels
• Can detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
• Can make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
• Have strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation
• Can handle private and confidential information with a high amount of discretion
• Are legally authorized to work in Canada
• AST and OFA 2 is an asset
