Job summary

Health PEI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for their Charlottetown location. The role involves routine pharmaceutical work, including drug distribution and patient interviews. Candidates must be registered with the PEI College of Pharmacists and have a Grade 12 education. Experience in hospital pharmacy is a plus. This is a temporary position with a salary range of CA$28.75 to CA$32.48 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a pharmacy technician with PEI College of Pharmacists.
• Previous experience in hospital pharmacy practice is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform drug distribution duties including filling and checking prescriptions.
• Prepare sterile intravenous products and interview patients for medication history.
• Assist with inventory maintenance and maintain pharmacy supplies.
